About Us

Lily Lemon is a family-run business founded by Jane Ashmore and run from her home on the delightful Island of Mersea, a little unspoilt gem just off the Essex Coast. Mersea is famous for its Colchester Native Oysters and has a thriving fishing port, lovely little creeks, nature reserves and excellent sailing. Oh and not forgetting the lovely sandy beaches with lines of traditional beach huts.

Jane has long been interested in home decoration, design and soft furnishings and produces cushions, filled hearts, table linen etc in her workshop for sale at local craft and gift fayres.  The website is a result of a growing demand for her products and Jane has worked hard to develop a range that will appeal to all lovers of shabby chic, country style, retro and vintage products.

Lily Lemon also sells ranges from PiP Studio, Really Rural Inspirations, Caroline Zoob, Emma Bridgewater, Kate Garey and Disaster Designs.
